Named JEAN 2 in homage to John II of Chambes who had the Château de Montsoreau built in 1450, the restaurant has two atmospheres. The vaulted, cosy, intimate and relaxed room with a library area is the ideal place to have lunch or dinner while reading an art book, novel or comic strip. On sunny days, the restaurant’s terrace, one of the most beautiful in the Loire Valley, becomes the ideal place for a period of rest and relaxation before or after visiting the museum and exhibitions.

As for the cuisine, the restaurant JEAN 2 offers a simple, authentic and seasonal cuisine, made up of dishes from local producers. From starters to desserts, everything is “homemade” from fresh products, selected by us.
On the decorative side, the music inspires the place: collector vinyl covers and a self-service piano.
